4/20 is just around the corner

One of the most popular holidays among new gens, 4/20, will unfortunately be celebrated differently this year due to social distancing and self-quarantining. What usually is a day celebrated in parks and other outdoor venues will be a solo sesh for most.

Is now the perfect time to get baked?

In the midst of a pandemic, anyone would feel stressed and anxious, especially new gens who are already prone to it normally. A survey conducted on new gens by EduBirdie revealed that 55 per cent of respondents found that cannabis helps relieve their stress caused by media hysteria.

How to celebrate 4/20 on lockdown

The survey also found that more than 40 per cent of the participants reported that they will celebrate the holiday with their friends over video chat. This means that whether you’re more a Houseparty kind of person or you prefer to keep it old school and chat on Zoom, you won’t have to smoke alone.

Quarantine baking the 4/20 way

For those of you who don’t smoke or are worried about disapproving parents, no stress. Haven’t you heard? Baking is the number one self-isolation occupation. Why don’t you try a banana bread the 4/20 way?

Stoners, not loners

Although potheads have a reputation for being loners and introverts, when comparing responses from those who consume cannabis and those who do not, EduBirdie learned that stoners have a more optimistic view of the current state of the world.
