Unlike a lot of girls who grew up in the 2000s, I never had a particular obsession with Kate Moss or Alexa Chung. Instead of impatiently awaiting their latest at Glastonbury festival looks, I was watching Glee and forming a pretty unhealthy obsession with Tom Hardy.

We’ve strategised and researched for weeks on how best to score tickets and I think we’ve finally perfected the process. With the first drop of tickets going on sale in only a few days, it’s crucial you listen up and follow these simple steps if you want to be in with a chance of shaking your ass to Madonna next summer.

When do Glastonbury 2024 tickets go on sale?
Glastonbury 2024 tickets which include coach travel will be released on Thursday 16 November 2023 at 6 pm GMT. General admission tickets, meaning tickets that don’t include any travel add-ons, will be dropped on Sunday 19 November at 9 am GMT.
But before you start worrying about the drops, don’t forget to pre-register! Without your personalised registration number, you won’t be able to access any tickets and then you’ll have to balance out your FOMO by investing in a lot of margaritas—been there, done that.
How much are Glastonbury tickets?
Glastonbury tickets can cost upwards of £350, however, you’re only going to be required to pay a £75 deposit at the time of purchase. That being said, don’t Klarna the hell out of this payment, because if you forget or fail to follow up later on down the line with the rest of the money, you might lose your tickets.

One of your top priorities should be inserting yourself into a group of six—there is strength in numbers, okay? You’ll have more of a chance of securing tickets if you’re in a team. Since one person can book up to six tickets, that’s the ideal number to aim for. If anyone even thinks about bringing an extra bestie along, it’s up to you to cut that crap off real quick.
According to the Glasto gods, being in a group of six increases your success rate by 500 per cent. Who knows if that’s actually true though at this point. While the group chat might drive you clinically insane, it’ll be worth it, trust me.
Once you have your peeps together and you’ve come up with an appropriately cute name for it, it’s time to get your spreadsheet on. I know, spreadsheets can be triggering and also stupidly confusing but, believe me when I say, it’ll prove to be your best friend during the buying process. The main information you’re going to need from each member of your group is: name, registration number, postcode, whether or not they’ll be travelling by coach, and if so, where their departure city will be.

On the day of the ticket drop, it’s crucial to have at least four alarms set to ensure you don’t oversleep. Also, I’d recommend swiping a work laptop or iPad so that you have multiple devices to try and get tickets on.
