Charlie Sawyer, Digital Editor at SCREENSHOT, started as a Staff Writer & Editorial Assistant. After earning a Bachelor's in Journalism and Politics from Cardiff University, she received a Master's in US History and Politics from UCL. With a passion for political commentary and the Real Housewives franchise, Charlie is deeply attuned to Gen Z trends. As co-host of the video series Reel Talk, Charlie also leads SCREENSHOT's Explained By a Blonde, where she simplifies complex topics into engaging, relatable content for youth audiences.
After graduating from Birkbeck, University of London, with a degree in Journalism and Media, Fatou Ferraro Mboup joined a women's aid organisation dedicated to combating female genital mutilation (FGM) in the UK. Working with this organisation during and after her studies, Fatou developed a deep passion for using her writing skills to effect positive change. In addition to her work, Fatou presents SCREENSHOT's weekly recaps on the UK and US political landscape. Through her articles and presentations, she aims to make a difference and inspire action towards a better future.
Abby Amoakuh is a versatile expert in diverse topics. An authority on Netflix shows, TikTok trends, work culture, and online feminism, she holds an undergraduate degree in Digital Media & Communications from the University of Westminster and a Master's in Gender, Media, and Culture from LSE.
