When actress and singer Zendaya recently took part in the iconic BuzzFeed Puppy Interview to promote her upcoming film Dune: Part Two, netizens were naturally thrilled. However, fans did not expect to be gifted with an adorable moment that saw the 27-year-old share sweet sentiments about her boyfriend and Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland.

When asked which member of the Dune: Part Two cast possesses the most “rizz” (short for charisma), Zendaya, surrounded by A-list co-stars like Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, and Timothée Chalamet, didn’t hesitate to shift the focus. “I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but I know personally works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland,” she shared, showering unprompted praise on her beau.

Zendaya went on to describe Holland’s exceptional conversational skills and his knack for bringing her out of her shell. The actress commended her boo’s natural ability to connect with people, both in everyday interactions and on talk shows.

The clip quickly went viral, with fans expressing amusement over Zendaya’s ability to make the moment all about Tom, even though he had no association with Dune or the discussion at hand. One user wrote: “The way Zendaya ended up just talking about her boyfriend who is in no way part of the Dune cast is sending me to the upper room.”

Interestingly, this contrasts with Holland’s response in another BuzzFeed interview, where he was asked about “having rizz.” In that instance, the actor playfully replied, “I have no rizz whatsoever, I have limited rizz. […] I’m locked up, so I’m happy and in love, I’ve got no need for rizz.”

One thing is for sure, this couple has upheld a commitment to privacy since the beginning. Holland, in a 2021 GQ interview, stressed the significance of safeguarding his personal life, expressing the sentiment of feeling “robbed of [their] privacy” when images of him and Zendaya sharing a kiss became global news. Zendaya echoed these feelings, characterising the exposure as “confusing and invasive.”

As fans eagerly await the release of Dune: Part Two, the anticipation seems to not just be for the movie itself, but also for the possibility of getting glimpses of more cute Tomdeya moments.
