In 2024, I have one goal: to find someone who obsesses over my outfits the way Jeff Puckett obsesses over his wife Campbell’s fits. I say Campbell, but I think we all really know her as “Pookie.” Loved on TikTok and the entire world over, Campbell and Jett Puckett have become the blueprint when it comes to complimenting your significant other. In short, if my future partner doesn’t make me feel like Pookie, I don’t want it.
Campbell Puckett, who has over 280,000 followers on TikTok, first started posting on the app back in 2020, but it was only recently that netizens became fascinated with her relationship with husband Jett and his extra special nickname for her.
The thing is, when you first come across the pair’s OOTDs you might not think too much of it. But you’d be wrong. First off, it’s not every day you discover a husband who actively refers to his wife as Pookie on the internet. Secondly, this man truly worships the ground Campbell walks on—it’s palpable through the screen.
I never knew that the phrase “Pookie looks absolutely fire tonight” could bring me such joy.
There’s so many things about these videos we could unpack: where did the Pookie nickname come from? How can I find a man this interested in my fits? Is Jett Matt Damon’s long-lost cousin? Does Pookie have a nickname for Jett? I mean, I could go on for hours.
The pair tied the knot back in 2018. When they first met, Campbell was a flight attendant and Jett was a grad student. The pair lived together in Georgia for years, before selling their house to live in Paris, France for several months. They’re now settled in Atlanta.
While some people have taken it upon themselves to make fun of Jett’s outfits or accent, so many others have flooded Campbell’s comments section with statements of admiration, blatantly bowled over by how much Jett loves and wants to share his love for his wife.
One netizen wrote: “His unprompted sweet little speech… I am raising my standards based on this alone,” while another shared: “Where’d [you] find him so I can go there?”
Personally, If I don’t make it out of 2024 as someone’s Pookie, I’m going to lose it.
