Jennifer Coolidge is a woman who can be described in many different ways, some of my favourites include mother, icon, MILF, and, of course, purveyor of all things plastic. Despite her prolonged tenure in the industry for several decades, the actor has only recently enjoyed the accolades of Hollywood in the past few years, most notably for her role in the TV series The White Lotus.

Crafted by Mike White for HBO, the dark-comedy anthology series proved to be an immediate success, heralding critical acclaim for both the storylines and the actors involved. Coolidge played Tanya McQuoid, a needy and self-obsessed heiress who visited The White Lotus resort to try and find inner peace.

While Coolidge’s character had many iconic moments, one of her most memorable lines was: “These gays, they’re trying to murder me!”

Honestly, irrespective of plot or context, you can’t argue that this is a pretty fabulous line of dialogue—one that was expertly executed by Coolidge.

So, it makes sense that during the Emmy Awards 2024—which saw the actor take home Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series—Coolidge expressed her gratitude to the “evil gays” in her acceptance speech:

The woman is just too incredible, I can’t deal. My only qualm with White is the fact that he killed her off at the end of season two. Why Mike, why?

When is ‘The White Lotus’ season three coming out?

So, when will be able to see The White Lotus back on our screens? According to Business Insider, the new season should be released sometime in 2025. It was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023. It’s also been announced that the new season will be set in Asia.

Who will star in ‘The White Lotus’ season three?

Some of the previous seasons have starred actors such as Sydney Sweeney, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza and Lukas Gage. Moving forward, HBO announced the following castings for season three: Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Carrie Coon.
