As everyone knows, it was the Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday 11 February 2024, and it basically felt as though every celebrity that you could ever think of was in attendance. Taylor Swift managed to race back from her show in Japan in order to support her man Travis Kelce, and she brought her entire crew with her, Blake Lively and Ice Spice included.

However, despite the Kansas Chiefs’ victorious win, some Swifties were far more concerned about how Kelce acted towards his team’s head coach, Andy Reid, midway through the game.

Tensions were clearly high throughout the entire game and at one point, Kelce became so enraged that he barged into Reid and was seen visibly shouting at the coach:

Following the Chief’s win, both Kelce and Reid addressed the incident in post-game interviews. Kelce stated that Reid was the best coach in the industry and that he owed his “entire career” to him. Reid, also clearly unfazed by the moment of anger, praised Kelce’s abilities and shared his love for the player’s commitment to the team.

While Reid and Kelce were happy to forget the moment in question, countless netizens shared their thoughts on the matter, particularly their disappointment in Kelce:

Moreover, a lot of fans felt as though Kelce needed humbling. The NFL star has been receiving a lot of attention recently due to his relationship with Swift and some have begun to feel as though the football player is now receiving special treatment:

Let’s just say that the Swifties also made it known that the Grammy-award-winning singer should consider the entire Reid debacle a massive red flag:
