I think Taylor Swift might be the most dateable person on the planet. And I don’t say this as a criticism, it’s a very literal compliment. The woman is one of the most successful music artists of this generation, and she also happens to have a dating history that’s reminiscent of a Calvin Klein commercial. Who’s her latest score, you ask? Well, it’s none other than American NFL star Travis Kelce.

Swift has had a pretty iconic week. First, she was spotted having multiple dinners with her ex-boyfriend’s now ex-wife Sophie Turner. I know that’s a bit of a mouthful. Then, Miss Swiftie was seen cheering on Kelce at his team’s—the Kansas City Chiefs—home game on Sunday 24 September 2023.

Not only was the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer seated in Kelce’s family suite, but she was actually sat next to the athlete’s mother, prompting fans to believe that the pair are definitely in the early stages of dating.

In videos which have since gone viral online, the Grammy award-winning artist can be seen jumping up and down, chest-bumping friends, and all-in-all joyously supporting the Chiefs, but more specifically, Kelce.

While the footage alone might make you think, ‘They’re clearly just friends and she’s simply excited for him’, just wait until you see the next clip. Following the game, Kelce and Swift were captured leaving the arena
together! In some clips, you can even see the pair linked arm in arm.

It’s unclear how the duo first became acquainted. However, we do have access to the moment where Kelce let fans know of his crush on the singer. During an episode of his podcast New Heights Show, which he hosts with his brother Jason, Kelce let it slip that he’d gone to a recent Swift concert with the intention of giving the megastar his number. Clearly, the Folklore artist saw the video.

Some Swifties have speculated whether or not the musician actually manifested Kelce into her life back in 2006. TikToker @devotedly.yours posted a video shortly after the pair were seen together and joked how in Swift’s song ‘Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)’, the singer talks about the two numbers 87 and 89—87 happens to be Kelce’s jersey number. Coincidence? I think not.
