After graduating from the Birkbeck University of London in Journalism and Media, Fatou Ferraro Mboup joined a women’s aid organisation dedicated to combating female genital mutilation (FGM) in the UK. Working with this organisation both during and after her degree, Fatou developed a deep passion for using her skills as a writer to effect positive change.
