Trisha Paytas is a YouTuber who has been on the internet since 2007. While her channel, blndsundoll4mj, was initially dedicated to her idol, movie director Quentin Tarantino, Paytas’ content quickly shifted into a lifestyle and mukbang hybrid where we, as the viewers, got to see intimate glimpses into the influencer’s personal life. 17 years later, Paytas’ natural flare for controversy, contagious sense of humour, sheer lack of filter, and unwavering pursuit of fame have turned her into one of the most successful content creators the internet has ever seen.

A quick disclaimer, this deep dive is purely for educational purposes and while I will admit that I do genuinely enjoy Paytas’ content and have been following her life for some time now, it is also crucially important to recognise the fact that a lot of the YouTuber’s actions in the past have been extremely problematic. If you thought Tana Mongeau had a skeleton or two in the closet, just wait until we uncover the chaos that is Miss Trisha.

Anyway, enough babbling, without further ado, here are some of the most obscure and bizarre things about Paytas that you probably didn’t know. From allegedly giving birth to a reincarnated Queen Elizabeth II to starring in a certain rapper’s music video, let’s get into it.

Did Trisha Paytas give birth to Queen Elizabeth?

Trisha Paytas is perpetually in the social media news cycle, and while I stroll through life assuming that everyone knows who the content creator is, a lot of people only recently became aware of Paytas after rumours began to swirl regarding her most recent pregnancy and its alleged royal connection.

On 8 September 2022, Queen Elizabeth II died—very sad. However, while one life was taken from us, we were gifted with another: Paytas’ baby girl Malibu. A coincidence? I think not. Paytas went into labour the day before the Queen’s death so netizens immediately hypothesised that Paytas’ newborn was the reincarnation of our very own monarch.

It was all a bit of fun, and no one thought too much of it once time had passed. But then, everything ramped up again after Paytas announced that she was pregnant with baby number two. At this point, King Charles had been appointed and there weren’t any clear indications that he would fall ill. But then, on 6 February 2024, it was announced that the King had been diagnosed with cancer and, well, it just seemed too weird not to mean something.

Now, Paytas’ second baby, named Elvis, isn’t due until May 2024, however, Gen Z naturally took to X (formerly Twitter) to collectively agree that it was an inevitability that baby number two would coincide with Charles’ untimely passing. Sorry, Charles.

It got to such a point that Paytas herself took to TikTok to try and dispel the rumours, actively discouraging the memes and looking visibly stressed about the entire situation.

Trisha Paytas Eminem music video

In 2009, Trisha Paytas appeared in an Eminem music video for the song ‘We Made You’. Not only did Paytas slay in a pair of denim shorts and cropped football T-shirt, she was also introduced by the rapper with the iconic line: “Jessica Simpson, sing the chorus.”

Despite the obvious problematic connotations behind Paytas playing a fat version of Jessica Simpson, the content creator has been very open about how kind and warm the rapper was to her behind the scenes. In fact, Paytas has spoken about Eminem a few times over the years.

Moreover, one could argue that Paytas is the female equivalent of Eminem… I mean, have you heard her rapping skills?

Trisha Paytas fast talking

While Paytas has always had a digital footprint, her breakthrough into mainstream media was in 2012 when she appeared on America’s Got Talent. Her talent? Fast-talking. And yes, that is a talent, thank you very much.

Paytas appeared on season seven of the competition show and while the audition process didn’t last too long—she received three ‘no’ buzzers within seconds—her time in the spotlight definitely made an impression.

Later on, we learned that the entire process was actually sabotaged by the show’s producers. Speaking about the moment during an episode of Frenemies, a vodcast Paytas starred in from September 2020 to June 2021 with fellow YouTuber Ethan Klein, the creator revealed that she was asked to change her act minutes before she went on stage.

Allegedly, Paytas was prepared to speed-sing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’—something she’d already performed on The Ellen Show. However, minutes before she was due to go on stage, she was told that instead, she had to freestyle. After the performance flopped, Paytas told the judges: “I’m not really a rapper, I just needed to make up a talent to see Howard Stern.”

While an influencer’s relationship status wouldn’t usually be classified as “a bizarre thing you probably didn’t know,” Paytas’ dating history is kind of wild and so I thought it would be worth quickly recapping two of her most public romances.

Jason Nash is a content creator best known for his association with YouTuber David Dobrik. Paytas and Nash had a highly turbulent and toxic relationship, a lot of which was captured on camera for the world to see:

The pair called it quits in early 2019, a decision lots of her fans greeted happily.

Paytas then met her now-husband Moses Hacmon through his sister Hila Klein, who is married to Paytas’ former podcast co-host, Ethan Klein. The pair began dating in 2020 and were engaged and married in the same year in 2021. Paytas then announced that they would be expecting their first child in early 2022.

Many people have praised Hacmon for being such a kind and patient partner, especially in regard to Paytas’ mental health conditions—something she’s been very open about over the years. Moreover, Paytas herself has repeatedly claimed that Hacmon has played a crucial role in helping her get over past toxic relationships.
