Petiri Ira

Petiri Ira is a race, society, and culture writer. She writes personal essays, reported features, opinion pieces, and social commentary articles on societal issues. She specialises in the areas of beauty, mental health, race, black womanhood, internet culture, and activism. Her work has been featured in gal-dem, Malala Fund's Assembly, Momentum, An InJustice!, Meshroom Magazine, Cultured Magazine, on the Dear Dark Skinned Girl blog, and various other publications across the Medium platform. Petiri is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Law at Carleton University.
