In October 2022, rap icon and weed connoisseur Snoop Dogg partnered with California-based munchable experts TSUMo Snacks to bring lucky West Coast dispensaries cannabis-infused onion rings.

Of course, it had to be the Snoop D-O double G who would fully understand the dilemma of so many stoners when it comes to edibles. If you think about it, the only other individual who could have come up with such a genius idea is the rapper’s bestie Martha Stewart—and we all know that she prefers to get high through Snoop’s secondhand smoke.

That being said, if, unlike the former inmate, you’ve experimented with THC-infused snacks, then you’re probably aware of the fact that, for those of us who prefer savoury food, it’s tough out there. In general, though there are a few exceptions already, edibles are offered in countless sweet options. After all, there’s a reason why many call them ‘space cakes’.

Speaking about his recent collaboration, Snoop Dogg clarified his thinking process behind the Snazzle O’s two flavours, ‘onion’ and ‘spicy onion’: “I’m excited to partner with TSUMo Snacks to bring some new snack options to the fans. There are plenty of sweet edibles out there, so when I created this product I wanted to put the Dogg twist on it.”

Capturing the classic onion ring taste and texture only those not in their right mind would dislike, each bag of Snazzle O’s is packed with bold flavours and 100 milligrams of THC, taking the already perfect snack to a whole new level.

Though the savoury treats were only available on shelves at MedMen dispensaries when first launched, following their initial rollout, the edibles were promptly released at additional partner dispensaries throughout the US state.

Not one to miss a promising business opportunity, along with the innovative snack products, the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper and the THC-infused food company also released a limited-edition merchandise line that featured a tracksuit, gold chain, socks and more as a homage to classic California hip-hop culture.

Superfans had the opportunity to win the merch via a social media contest by following @Tsumosnacks on Instagram. And if edibles simply aren’t your thing, fear not, we’ve got some more practical advice from Snoop himself: microwave your blunts, boo.
