Oh, where do we even begin with this wedding that’ll undoubtedly make it into the online history books? A viral video has been circulating on TikTok capturing the moment a groom delivers perhaps the most cringe-worthy and embarrassing vows ever witnessed.

Just as a pre-warning, this clip is so uncomfortable that we’re contemplating starting a GoFundMe page just to help the attendees recover.

A viral TikTok of a groom’s short but explicit wedding vows have divided viewers. Some argue that it’s just the couple’s sense of humour, but others are calling it lazy and disrespectful. What do you think?! #wedding #weddingvows #groom

In short, the man of the hour decided to cut down his declaration of love with a simple statement: “I promise to smack that ass every chance I get… That’s all I got.”The audience, clearly stunned by what’s just gone down, looks to the bride to catch her reaction. As she lets out an awkward laugh, desperately hoping for a punchline that never arrives, the officiant, in disbelief, tries to salvage the moment by incredulously asking: “Are you sure that’s all you have to say?” But the groom, seemingly oblivious to the gravity of the occasion, nonchalantly replies, “Yes… I didn’t write nothing out.” And there it was, a profound proclamation of eternal love reduced to a mere “smack that.”

But as it’s been recently revealed online, the nightmare didn’t stop here for the poor bride. Enter the father of the groom, a character straight out of Moe’s Tavern from The Simpsons and proof that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. In a tone that echoes the apathy of Homer himself, he’s caught on camera starting his speech with: “I never thought he’d make it this far.” The perfect blend of backhanded compliments and indifference leaves the audience questioning whether he’s genuinely surprised or just challenging the whole wedding.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any more bizarre, the ex-girlfriend from high school takes the stage. In a move that can only be described as the cherry on top of this cringe-worthy sundae, she announces, “Yes, you might think that it’s weird, but it’s probably more helpful than weird.” The room is left in an awkward silence, punctuated by nervous laughter from those desperately trying to make sense of the unfolding spectacle.

This groom went viral over on social media for his lazy wedding vows. More footage from the wedding has also gained a lot of attention and people even more cringed out🤢 Now people have been reacting to the father of the groom also sloppily 'winging' his wedding speech and if that wasn't odd enough, Cody's ex-girlfriend from high school also makes a speech...😅 #weddingvows #wedding #weddinggroom #weddingvowsgonewrong

As the video of this wedding continues to circulate on social media, one can’t help but marvel at the perfect storm of awkwardness that unfolded. Perhaps a GoFundMe page is not just a suggestion but a necessity to recover from the trauma inflicted on the attendees and bride. And who knows, maybe we can still save her?
