In newly released files from a deposition in 2016, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged victims Virginia Giuffre has alleged that she was sex-trafficked by American billionaire and hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin while his wife was asleep in the next room.

The deposition was an exhibit in the civil lawsuit between Giuffre and Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. It was unsealed together with other court documents.

According to Giuffre, Dubin was the first person Maxwell instructed her to have sex with. The victim clarified that the term Maxwell used was “erotic massage,” which she said was a euphemism for sex. “When they say massage, that means erotic, okay? That’s their term for it,” Giuffre stated in the filings. “And I’m telling you that Ghislaine told me to go to Glenn Dubin and give him a massage, which means sex,” she continued.

Dubin is the co-founder of Highbridge Capital Management, an alternative asset management. His net worth is currently estimated at $2.9 billion.

A spokesperson for Dubin told Business Insider on Tuesday: “The Dubins strongly deny these allegations, as we first said in 2019 when these unsubstantiated statements first surfaced as part of this same civil court proceeding.” The pair have expressed regret over their connection to Epstein.

After Epstein’s initial arrest in 2006, over procuring a minor for prostitution, the billionaire’s wife, Eva Dubin, emailed the financier’s probation officer at the time to say she was “100% comfortable” with Epstein being around her three children, all of whom were under the age of 18.

“I know Glenn Dubin was first,” Giuffre noted of the sexual encounter right after she finished her training as a masseuse and began working for Epstein.

In a separate deposition given by the accuser, Giuffre claimed to also have had sex with Thomas Pritzker, the billionaire executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels. The 40-year-old did not suggest that she was prompted by Maxwell to engage in this sexual encounter. Pritzker has strongly denied the accusations.

However, later in the same deposition, the accuser said that Maxwell sent her to have sex with the “owner of a large hotel chain” in France. Giuffre did not name this particular person.

The names of Dubin and Pritzker, as well as Dubin’s wife, Dr Eva Andersson-Dubin, appeared multiple times among hundreds of pages of court documents.
