But that’s not all. Brown, who became a sensation by portraying Eleven, the young girl with supernatural powers in Stranger Things, also dropped a bombshell. She’s ready to say goodbye to the show. Why? Brown openly shared her eagerness to part ways with the long-running show, citing that it was too time-consuming. “It’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about,” she told the magazine.

Despite recognising the invaluable growth she’s experienced portraying Eleven, she emphasised her excitement about staying connected with her colleagues once the show concludes: “When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people.”

Brown’s interview also highlighted the challenges she faced during her rise to stardom. Notably, she mentioned facing criticism from YouTubers and bloggers who dissected every word she uttered during interviews with her fellow young co-stars from the show. To diminish and practically stunt someone’s growth mentally, strip them down, tell them, ‘Hey, listen, you don’t look that great. Why are you wearing that? How dare you think you can wear that? How dare you say that?’”
