I truly can’t stress enough how much TikTok has taught me. And when it comes to viewing the world through your spiritual lens, social media can be a fabulous place to start your learning journey. Now, everyone has their poison of choice regarding this side of the internet. There’s astrology and tarot cards, palm reading and manifestation, or perhaps you’re more interested in mindset experiments such as the toxic positivity trend that took over TikTok back in 2023. For some, more specifically Gen Z, it’s all about angel numbers.

From their meaning and potential impact to figuring out which number is best suited for you, watch me go full Mystic Meg and provide you with everything you need to know about angel numbers.

What is an angel number?

An angel number is, in short, a number sequence that contains repetition. For instance, you know how for our entire lives we’ve made a wish whenever the clock strikes 11:11, without truly understanding the reason behind it? Well, as it turns out, it’s all down to angel numbers.

Other examples of angel numbers would be 444, 111, 666, 777, etc. For some reason, our brains latch onto these consecutive number sequences in ways they just don’t over other random variations.

Most people who subscribe to the power of angel numbers believe they are the universe’s way of sending us messages. Each number represents a different spiritual insight, offering direction and wisdom that many find comforting and reassuring.

Angel numbers are often believed to have been sent by a guide from the spiritual realm who is watching over you and providing these signs to better help you align with your path. This can include anything from helping you address job concerns or potential career prospects to navigating relationship problems or family issues.

Moreover, some like to assign specific personal meanings to certain numbers. This can be a very grounding exercise in moments of turmoil.

That being said, while certain angel numbers can mean different things to different people, there are particularly distinct attributes associated with each number.

Angel number 333

One of the most common and most popular angel numbers is 333. Now, the main reason why 333 is so revered and important in the spiritual realm is because it represents growth. I’m not talking about ‘I’m going to grow three inches’ growth, I’m more meaning that when you see 333 somewhere, it indicates that you’re about to experience real growth and development in some aspect of your life.

Jenn King, a renowned cosmic numerologist, spoke with USA Today about the angel number 333 and its ability to impact someone’s life: “Three encourages you to put energy into your own growth and expansion and your own journey, and where you want to be and where you’d like to be, and then encourages you to dream big.”

“It’s a really nice reminder that you have influence, that you have agency, that you have power, and whatever you direct your energy, your thoughts, your emotions, your love into is going to grow,” King continued, emphasising how catching sight of an angel number can sometimes be the motivating force someone needs to go full-throttle when attempting to reach their goals.

The angel number 333 encourages you to embrace the very best of yourself. That being said, balance is also key and it’s important to let angel numbers supplement and enlighten your path, not control it.

What does the angel number 333 mean in terms of relationships?

For example, when it comes to relationships (romantic or platonic), the 333 angel number signifies attracting optimism and embracing necessary changes for all forms of love to grow and flourish.

As emphasised by King, 333 encourages you to infuse your life and the lives of those around you with positivity “so that your relationships can grow, you can grow, the people you’re connected with can grow and everyone grows to be great. It benefits everyone.”

What does the angel number 333 mean in terms of career and money?

When it comes to your career, the angel number 333 tends to symbolise ambition and good fortune in the workplace. If you’re seeing 333 pop up everywhere, it might be a sign to pursue that promotion you’ve had your eye on for a while or take an entrepreneurial leap.

Financial flow and heightened creativity are also associated with the angel number 333. “If you aim high, you just never know. When you collaborate with that expansive growth energy, anything can happen, and anything is possible,” King notes.

What is my angel number?

There are also ways to find out and calculate what your personal angel number is. If angel numbers are something you’ve taken an interest in, discovering your designated number could be both beneficial and interesting.

Some people believe that a personal angel number corresponds to the number that you either identify with the most or the one you feel presents itself to you the most. So, if you see 777 a lot and feel as though you appreciate the symbolism of that number, that could be your personal angel number.

On the other hand, there are lots of websites and videos out there that show you how to calculate your angel number. The majority of these platforms calculate your number by adding up the numbers in your birthdate, month, and year.
