It was revealed in court that American model Blac Chyna pointed a gun at Rob Kardashian’s head “several times” during a domestic dispute in 2016. In a Los Angeles courtroom on Wednesday 27 April 2022, Kardashian sat for a cross-examination in the high-profile case in which Blac Chyna—legal name Angela White—is seeking over $100 million in damages from the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Her allegations stem from reports that the infamous family ‘trash-talked’ her to executives at E! following her split from Kardashian five years ago. She believes this led to the cancellation of their spin-off show, from Keeping up with the Kardashians, called Rob & Chyna—a claim the Kardashian-Jenners strongly deny.

Speaking to the court, Kardashian detailed how relationship troubles with his ex-fiancé began with the announcement that they were expecting a baby. A baby shower organised by Kardashian’s family was to take place, however, Chyna was not invited. “She got upset and so I sided with her over my family and we had a separate baby shower with her friends,” he said.

Kardashian also told the court that he met Chyna at “probably the worst point in my life,” following a stint in hospital for diabetes treatment.

Further along in the ongoing trial, Lynne Ciani, Chyna’s attorney, questioned her client about the alleged domestic dispute  that has been at the forefront of the trial’s early stages. The incident allegedly took place on 15 December 2016. Chyna testified against the alleged incident saying the pair were “just being silly” and the mood only soured when Kardashian stole her phone, bringing her ex-partner’s jealousy centre stage, which she claimed has been prominent throughout their relationship. However, Kardashian’s side of the story seems anything but “silly.”

“I would say there were five domestic incidents that night,” he said. “It’s not a joke to point a gun at someone’s head. She tried to kill me,” Kardashian told jurors. He went on to detail how the night did in fact begin “humorous and playful” with the couple seen throwing money at each other on Snapchat videos shown in court. Ironically, they were celebrating the renewal of Rob & Chyna.

Kardashian continued to recount the event, saying that after an alcohol and cocaine-filled night, Chyna began a physical assault on him that lasted through the night and into the next morning. Attacking him with a 6-foot metal rod and destroying the house—the pair were staying at a home owned by younger half-sister Kylie Jenner in Hidden Hills—Kardashian went on to accuse Chyna of pointing an unloaded gun at his head twice, and hitting him on multiple occasions.

Corey Gamble, partner of Kris Jenner, told the court on Tuesday 26 April how he witnessed the assault and saw Chyna beating Kardashian, screaming at him with a metal rod in hand. On Wednesday, Kardashian said, “I had a gun pointed to my head several times by this woman. That’s not real love. That’s not how my dad raised me.”

Despite telling the court there was “no happiness” between the ex couple, he went on to say he still had a “big heart” even in the aftermath of their domestic dispute. He claimed to have driven from California to Texas to bail her out for bringing ecstasy onto a plane. “I never ratted her out,” he said. “I didn’t want her to deal with the paparazzi.”
