Did someone say baby? If so, they might have been at Suki Waterhouse’s Sunday concert at the Corona Capital Music Festival in Mexico City. Next to glittery dresses and a dazzling performance by the English actress and singer-songwriter, her pregnancy announcement was definitely the major takeaway of that evening.

While on stage, Waterhouse revealed that she is currently pregnant with her and actor Robert Pattinson’s first child. And she did so in the most Suki-esque way possible:

“I decided to wear something particularly sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on,” the singer said while flaunting a sparkly pink mini dress and a cream-coloured fur coat. “I’m not sure if it’s working,” she noted as the wind blew the coat away at just the right time to reveal a large baby bump.

The two stars have been in a very low-key relationship since mid-2018. Then in 2022, engagement rumours started to circle around. However, these were quickly dispelled by an E! source, which stated that “Rob and Suki have definitely discussed getting engaged but are in no rush.” Still, the source affirmed that the two were “going strong.”

Fast forward to November 2023, when we got a much-needed relationship update in the form of a pregnancy announcement. If that doesn’t scream love and commitment, I don’t know what does.

WHY AM I CRYING!!!! Suki Waterhouse has confirmed she is expecting her first child with Robert Pattinson. I hope they at least consider naming their baby Renesmee. #sukiwaterhouse #robertpattinson #robertpattinsonedit #sukiwaterhouseconcert #sukiwaterhouseedit #sukiwaterhousepregnant #twilight

After a modelling career and a couple of acting gigs, Waterhouse kicked off her music career with the single ‘Brutally’ in November 2016. It was followed by her TikTok hit ‘Good Looking’, which was released in 2017 and went viral on the app in 2022.

Consequently, netizens were delighted that one of their favourite power couples was expecting a baby and quickly congratulated the two on various social platforms.

“I can’t wait for Suki to give birth to Renesmee,” one netizen joked in reference to Pattinson’s iconic role as vampire daddy in the Twilight saga. “I hope they at least consider naming their baby Renesmee,” another TikToker affirmed. “They are going to make the best parents,” another user noted. “6th grade me is crying and throwing up,” someone else overshared.

It’s clear that Pattinson and Waterhouse have the very funny opportunity to troll their fanbase a little bit by at least suggesting that Renesmee or EJ are on the table. Given Pattinson’s disdain for Twilight though, it is very unlikely.
