When it comes to who’s dating who among the world’s most famous celebrities—because let’s be honest, it’s rare for any of them to date outside of their inner circles—one thing is for sure, us common mortals won’t ever run out of cryptic interactions to discuss and body language to analyse.

And unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably well aware that one of the latest celebrity couples to send fans and haters alike in a delirious frenzy of wild theories and over analytical videos is the recently announced relationship between Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and American socialite and supermodel Kendall Jenner.

Ever since the news of this unlikely duo first broke out back in February 2023 when the two were spotted leaving the same Los Angeles restaurant, Bad Bunny and Jenner have made it their mission to confirm their relationship status loud and clear—in turn, leading a storm of individuals worldwide to mourn their loss at ever dating one or the other.

That being said, whether you’re team Bunny or Jenner (or both), don’t lose hope just yet, because online ‘experts’ have spent hours meticulously analysing the couple’s interactions, and they have their own theories about just how stable it is—or isn’t.

The alleged loved-up pair were recently spotted courtside at a Lakers game, one of miss Jenner’s favourite pastimes. And while it might’ve seemed like the two were simply spending a romantic evening together, us eagle-eyed netizens spotted some potential trouble in paradise.

Now, for those of us who spent the majority of our adolescence scanning the mannerisms and body language of celebrity couples, it’s safe to say that the behaviour between Jenner and Bunny courtside clearly read as frighteningly stiff and awkward. Not only were there a number of moments where the 27-year-old model looked far more interested in her surroundings than the rapper, but the pair also spent the majority of the game leaning so far away from each other they were practically sitting in strangers’ laps.

Having already been trending on TikTok for a little while now, all it took was one quick look at the viral clips of the two superstars to whip out the Green Line love test, a way to analyse a couple’s relationship by taking a picture of them together and drawing a straight green line over their posture to determine which one of them is sitting straight and which one is leaning towards the other.

The one sitting straight or even leaning away is, you guessed it, the one with the most power in the relationship, aka the one who will probably end it first. In Jenner and Bad Bunny’s case, it’s obvious to see that while the singer is turning his whole body towards the model, Jenner seems interested in everything but her hunky boyfriend.

So, despite having been romantically linked since February, has the honeymoon period already officially ended for these two? Realistically, we can’t imagine either of them will have any issues picking up a new piece of arm candy if they do decide to split. And even though Coachella is over, the summer festival season is right around the corner and with it comes a myriad of other beautiful people lining up to have their shot.

Is it true love or just a fling? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure when it comes to obsessing over the lives of celebrity couples—including their makeups and their breakups—we Gen Zers just can’t seem to get enough.
