Drake, who has clearly decided to take a pause from poetry, has come out and addressed the supposed “weirdos” in his comments sections who’re making digs and crude remarks about his friendship with actress Millie Bobby Brown.

For any of you who don’t remember, the rapper had a pretty questionable relationship with Brown back in 2018. Drake, who was 18 years older than the 14-year-old, was put on blast after the actress revealed that the singer often texted her and gave her “boy advice.” Suss Drake, pretty suss.

Now, while there were never any indications that the friendship was overtly unsavoury, or that Drake had done anything to Brown, it still perplexed people why a grown man would be texting a teenager in the first place.

However, the Stranger Things actress and recent novelist made it clear to the public that there was nothing seedy going on, and even shared in an Instagram post that she thought it was “weird” to make a “lovely friendship your headline.”

And now, five years later, Drake is also addressing all the hate. In a song titled ‘Another Late Night’ off his new album For All The Dogs, Drake says: “Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ‘bout some Millie Bobby, look / Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin.”

Bizarrely enough, this wasn’t even close to Drake’s most unhinged and interesting lyrics on the album. TikTokers have been quite literally losing their minds over the lyrics in another one of the songs ‘Members Only.’ In the song, the rapper states: “Feel like I’m bi ‘cause you’re one of the guys, girl.”

Luckily, I think people found it so ridiculous that they weren’t even that offended by the lyrics. But honestly Drake, what were you thinking?

Drake has found himself in the midst of controversy many times now. Does anyone remember when he was allegedly sued for putting hot sauce into his condom in order to ‘kill his sperm’? Yep, that supposedly happened. Or, when he alleged that rapper Megan Thee Stallion lied about getting shot by Tory Lanez. I think it might be best if the rapper gracefully bows out before his reputation is completely destroyed.
